Everything Spotlight Banner Synopsis
Love could prove fatal in N.B. Baker’s thrilling and titillating debut, Everything. A seductive tale of romance and deception, its twists and turns lead to a shocking finale that proves no secret is left buried forever.
No one would ever mistake Ella Stone’s life for a fairy tale. Abandoned by her parents when she was an infant, Ella was raised by her grandparents on a vast Wyoming ranch. When they both pass away within a year of each other, Ella must contemplate her own future for the first time.
Upon moving to Detroit to be closer to friends, Ella is immediately swept away by the passionate, up-and-coming artist Hunter. But their romance comes to an abrupt end when she catches him in bed with another woman. Struggling to move on, Ella meets Chance St. John. Their coincidental run-ins seem almost comical at first. Until the night he rescues her from a brutal attack.
As they get to know each other, Ella and Chance embark on a passionate journey that neither had ever thought possible. But Ella can’t fight the feeling that Chance is holding something back, something from his past that he’s just not willing to share.
Ella must discover the truth before Chance’s dark past destroys them both.

She was sent to the Congress of Vienna with one simple mission. Observe and report on the Prussian delegation. What she hadn't expected was someone in the delegation observing her.

Georgiana "George"
Lockhart grew up as a Haberdasher, one of the girls trained by Robert Bittlesworth to be both armed and dangerous. She has her first assignment through the Foreign Office and needs to distract and use a man she assumes is an opposing agent.

Casimir Rokiczana would do anything for his people. The Congress of Vienna seemed poised to tear his homeland apart and he is working frantically to find a voice with each of the Four Great Powers. In his experience men are often swayed by the opinions of their wives, but the English beauty he has chosen to woo to his cause seems to have more on her mind than a liaison.

Author Bio:

Doodlist, scribbler, thinker, planner, and all around fun chick.

What her fans are saying: "...a wit so sharp it should have a warning label..." ~ Dusk Pennington

Sue London began writing short stories about horses and teen sleuths when she was seven years old. After that she traveled to distant worlds, fought with swords and sorcerers, and played with a few undead things. As you might have expected, this means she went into accountancy. Well, maybe that was an odd plot twist, but that's the difference between real life and fiction - fiction has to make sense.

In her twenties she developed a deep affection for romance, especially enjoying the work of Nora Roberts, Mary Balogh and, most recently, Courtney Milan, Rose Gordon, Lauren Royal, Danelle Harmon, and Diane Farr. You can thank those authors for leading a sci-fi tomboy into writing historical romances set in the Regency period.

The final chapter in the award-winning and bestselling Hearts of the Anemoi series…

She’s the only one who can give him the strength to save them all…

Annalise Fallston made peace with postponing her big-city dreams to care for her ill father, but lately she's been filled with a restlessness not even her beloved painting dispels. Worse, the colors don't speak to her as they always have, and all her efforts produce dark, foreboding images of a dangerous man and a terrifying future.

Devlin Eston, black-souled son of the evil Anemoi Eurus, is the only one who can thwart his father's plan to overthrow the Supreme God of Wind and Storms. But first, Dev must master the unstable powers he's been given. Distrusted and shunned by his own divine family, he never expected to find kindness and passion in the arms of a mortal.

But Devlin's love puts Annalise in the path of a catastrophic storm, and in the final Armageddon showdown between the Anemoi and Eurus, sacrifices will be made, hearts broken, and lives changed forever...or lost.

You guys! I can’t believe release day for East of Ecstasy is finally here! This is the final book in my Hearts of the Anemoi series, which includes: North of Need, West of Want, and South of Surrender. The Anemoi were wind gods the Greek associated with controlling the wind, weather, and seasons. In East of Ecstasy, hero Devlin Eston is the heir to the East Wind which has long been associated with unluckiness, misfortune, and, thanks to Devlin’s father, even evil. Devlin himself has been the victim of father’s evil, and thereby finds himself an outcast among his own divine family. In this scene, heroine Annalise Fallston—who gets visions that she’s forced to paint in order to quiet them in her mind—sees Devlin for the first time. Here’s what she says:

Forcing the chaos in her mind away, Anna dipped her brush into the gray and stepped to the canvas. Motion captured her attention from the corner of her eye.

The Dark Man, the subject of her recent paintings, stood in the doorway and leaned against the jamb.

Anna jumped and her pulse raced, but this time, anger flooded in instead of fear. “I will deal with you on my own damn terms,” she said, taking a perverse amount of pleasure from putting a figment of her imagination in its place. Because that’s all he was.

He didn’t move or speak. Not that he could, since, you know. Figment. Of. Imagination.

Anna rolled her eyes, done with being scared and so pissed to have to do this again that she was nearly out of her mind. “I’m doing your damn painting already. So just leave me alone.” She cut her gaze back to the expanse of white, but the desire to see if his image would still be there if she looked again drove her to distraction.

Finally, she gave in and…he was still there.

Completely still. Blatantly scowling. Totally unfathomable.

Was this a vision? Another image she’d have to paint?

Her heart tripped into a sprint, and she couldn’t look away from him. Like the compulsion that forced her to paint these images, Anna couldn’t help but return his stare and memorize his masculine features. The sharp angles of his face, the harsh set of his mouth, the dark shadows around his even darker eyes. Black eyes. Blades of black hair hung low over his forehead and just touched the hooded shirt he wore under his short, scuffed leather jacket. He’d crossed his arms over his chest, and the position caused his biceps to bunch up under the worn leather. In fact, everything about him appeared worn—the coat, the threadbare jeans, the scuffed boots. None of it struck her as the kind of shabby chic you could buy in some upscale store for a small fortune, either. The whole effect was rough. Dangerous. Deprived.

Deprived? What a strange way of describing him. But as Anna’s gaze swept over him again, the thought stuck. For his height, he seemed thin, with his lean hips, clad in old black jeans, a trim waist, and pronounced cheekbones. Her fingers twitched around the nearly forgotten paintbrush. What would it feel like to cup that harsh face in her hand?

Anna gasped and tore her gaze away. She had to blink to pull herself out of the haze of thoughts. Frustration surged through her and tensed the muscles of her shoulders and neck. She didn’t want to be working on another of these paintings as it was, so the last thing she needed was to lose a bunch of time daydreaming. Or would it be daynightmaring?

As she stared at the blank canvas, the image of the shackled man behind the prison bars filled her mind’s eye.

Definitely the latter.

Curiosity pulled her eyes to the left again. The doorway was empty.

From the bestselling author of In Search of Lucy

Four Friends. Four Different Paths. One Unwavering Friendship.

Four life-long friends bound by two decades of laughter, love, promises, and secrets. Once inseparable, the four grow into independent adults pursuing very different paths.

Sage, raised by career-driven parents, follows a carefully laid out future of success that leaves her wondering what she's missed out on.

Emily, the college drop-out, now has three children that have become her whole life. She's slowly lost herself, subconsciously seeking dangerous ways to cope. Can she find herself in time?

Jax always lived on the edge, skating through life with no apparent ambition, yet remained the energy and emotional cement of the group. She longs for her friends to accept her without trying to fix her.

Ned, Emily's twin brother, yearns to stand up and be counted. But his old loyalties and new feelings for one of the girls has him pulled in different directions.

Will the ties that held them together as kids be strong enough for them as adults? These four friends will discover the true meaning of friendship and unveil truths about themselves they never knew existed.

 A Stellar 4.5

This book is the one literature lovers are constantly looking for…It’s the one that satisfies their needs for a good book..

Circle in the sand practically screams quality from the first page..It is sensational…If you’re looking for beauty, then this is it..

The book is written by multiple POVs (Ned, Sage, Jax and Emily)..When I saw that, I have to admit I was very wary, since it’s a tactic that rather does the authors harm than good. But this is not the case with Lia and I was very happy about that. The book is a pure joy to read..The multiple POVs are actually very welcome and extremely well written, while the story never fades or strains.

It’s a really magnificent book..

As I said, the multiple POVs were exemplary. The writing is graceful and Lia’s words seem to flow, the one into the other, without difficulty, but with elegance.

The characters are also excellently developed. Every character is very different from the other, but they are all very well described and introduced to the reader. It really feels like reading about a real friends’ group…

It’s really a fantastic book that takes your mind and breath away..

While reading it, it feels like you are one of the group, talking to the characters themselves. It’s really mesmerizing..It’s been a while since I read a book like this one..A real book about real people with real problems..But without putting me into depression..It maintains a hopeful and joyful attitude, even though we’re actually talking about reality..And we all know that isn’t all hearts and flowers, like our Mr.Grey says .

I absolutely recommend this book, without a doubt!! Lia is an amazing writer..

She’s actually outstanding..
The story is beautiful and sweet and the characters are easy to love..

"I’m going to have a baby,” Ivy declares as she stops directly in front of me. Well, her belly stopped directly in front of me, the rest of her soon follows. Yes, indeed, my wife is definitely going to have a baby. Soon. I’m getting ready—staring at the mirror as I mess with my tie, making sure it’s perfect—when she approaches me. I shoot her a grin, feeling good, feeling on top of my game. Life couldn’t get any better, you know? We’re celebrating today and with good reason. “I know, sexy mama.” I turn away from the mirror and wink at her. “Trust me, I haven’t forgotten that I’m the one who knocked you up.” She stares at me, no reaction to my wink or my words. She usually slaps my ass and kisses me. Says something sarcastic at the very least. But I’m getting nothing. And it’s kind of disconcerting. “Archer. I’m dead serious. I’m going to have the baby.” “I know, babe. And I can’t freaking wait.” I study her, noticing that she looks a little pale and her pupils are dilated. Hmm. “You feeling okay?” Rolling her eyes, she rests her hand on top of her protruding stomach, rubbing it absently. Then not so absently. As in, she’s clutching her belly like she’s in pain. “I’m in—” She sucks in a harsh breath, holding it for a few seconds. “—labor, damn it.”

Love Shots is the combination of sweetness and tragedy..

So much sadness and so much waste...

Kyle is such a strong young woman, who has survived so much...The tragedy of that one night, the loss of her friends and boyfriend, the loss of trust and respect from her family..But she still tries to see the good in them..She still tries to understand them and give excuses for them..

Personally,I'm not wired like that..I can see where her family comes from and why they don't believe her..But I can't understand their behaviour..Yes it is somewhat justified, generally speaking..But this is not general..It's their daughter, their sister..They should have believed in her a lot more..After all, it was just one night..And because of that, they made her feel like she shouldn't be happy..Like she deserved to be along for the rest of her life..Why?Because of one night..That is unacceptable..

My heart broke for Kyle..I was in tears, during her confession, her outburst..Everyone should feel worthy,no matter their mistakes..

Seriously,I wanted to get into the book and kick some major ass...

So,you may have noticed how intense my words are..I love Kyle and I love her story. Not how she was treated of course..But I loved the book..Sidonia made a somewhat ordinary story into a special and unique story involving special characters into special situations...

It has Romance and it has Mystery..Tragedy and Smiles..Sadness but Hope,too..Darkness and Light..Love, Betrayal and Secrets..

Congratulations Sidonia for this wonderful book!

There was a time in my life when the light within me shined so brightly. At some point I lost it. I lost me. Life used to course through my veins like an out of control wildfire, unstoppable and infectious. Time was supposed to heal, but all it did was slowly strip me down to an empty vessel void of passion, desire, and drive. I wanted to scream, “Be the one to save me,” but my soul was drained, my heart was shattered, and time had siphoned the life out of me.
