Review: Saving Amy

Saving Amy
Saving Amy by Nicola Haken

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Given by the author for an honest review for her Blog Tour

Saving Amy may be dark but I haven't read a more hopeful and dreamy book..

It really speaks to all abusive victims, but also to the rest of the world that remains ignorant of the situation..There are so many victims, verbally or physically abused, who are afraid to speak out,who lose every ounce of self-confidence that they once had..
All they need is strength..They may recognise it to themselves or to someone special..

Amy found her strength to Ritchard..She is a survivor, she is strong..But quite often we need somebody else to be strong for us,somebody else to be our own strength..And Ritchard does that..He is the stregth of the book while Amy is the heart..

This books shows that it's ok to rely on someone else..that it's ok to be just you and no one else..It's ok to ask for help..It's more than ok to trust others and let them in..

Saving Amy is a very emotional book, with endless depth that speaks to heart and mind...It shows that the world isn't perfect but it can sure be better..

Its darkness is ultimately overshadowed by its light..Abuse overpowered by hope..Unhappiness overturned by love..

Saving Amy is one of the best books of the year..
